IN DANGER OF ETERNAL DESTRUCTION

We are either telling ourselves the truth or we are telling ourselves lies; we either believe the Scriptures or we don’t. At Christmas we celebrate the love of God for man: “For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.” John 3:16. All would have been well, and everything would have been fine if the story ended there. Verses 18 and 19 of John 3 say, “He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God. And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil.” Apostle Paul paints a scarier picture, he said, “When the Lord Jesus shall be revealed from heaven with his mighty angels, in flaming fire taking vengeance on them that know not God, and that obey not the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ: who shall be punished with everlasting destruction from the presence of the Lord, and from the glory of his power.” 2 Thessalonians 1:8-9. Dear saints, I have a question for you: how much do you really love your friends, colleagues and relations who do not believe and are still in sin? I have another question for you: what have you done, or what are you doing about getting them saved? One more question for you: how would you feel when in heaven, you do not see those you loved here on earth, and then it dawns on you that they will suffer eternal destruction, forever and ever?

  1. I am so glad over 22 years ago, God drew me to his son, Jesus Christ, and I have been born again. I know I am on the path of eternal life and I praise him, to God be the glory. God save us, so we can be a beacon of light in this dark world. God has stirred my spirit man up and I am compelled to reach those in my family more than ever. Living the life is just as powerful and teaching or preaching God's word because that is what people need to see, is a difference and our family know us better than anyone. We ought to live holy seeing we know that eternal destruction will come for all those who reject our Savior Lord Jesus Christ.
