PRAISE THE LORD
Revelation 19:5 NKJV "Then a voice came from the throne, saying,
“Praise our God, all you His servants and those who fear Him, both small
and great!”
We often talk about praising God as a way to get
something from God or as a weapon of warfare, but how about just
praising God for who He is, praising Him for what He has done, and praising Him just to make Him happy.
Great is the Lord and therefore greatly to be praised! He's awesome,
mighty, glorious, He's good! He heals us, He keeps us, He delivers us,
He feeds us, He clothes us, He did not allow the desires of our enemies
come to pass, He is our comforter, our guide, our shield, He makes ways
for us even when there are none! O give thanks to the Lord for He is
good, for His mercies endure forever!
"Praise the Lord! Praise
God in His sanctuary; Praise Him in His mighty firmament! Praise Him for
His mighty acts; Praise Him according to His excellent greatness!
Praise Him with the sound of the trumpet; Praise Him with the lute and
harp! Praise Him with the timbrel and dance; Praise Him with stringed
instruments and flutes! Praise Him with loud cymbals; Praise Him with
clashing cymbals! Let everything that has breath praise the Lord. Praise
the Lord!"
