WARRING A GOOD WARFARE

Life is one big battleground. Almost everyday there are issues to deal with: financial, marital, health, emotional and relationship issues. There are things to deal with at work, at home, in school and everywhere else. Sometimes, the battles concern us, and at other times, we're fighting for others. Every christian is a warrior. And may I tell you, that our number one adversary is Satan himself. And then we also have to deal with his cohorts, his children and unpleasant situations that seek to test and cripple our faith. But we are not weaklings! Nothing makes us quit. We are more than conquerors! Hallelujah! As with any battle, those with superior weapons have a better chance of winning. God has equipped us with all that we need to win. One weapon we have is prophecy. Let me explain briefly: Paul said to Timothy: "This charge I commit unto thee, son Timothy, according to the prophecies which went before on thee, that thou by them mightest war a good warfare." 1 Timothy 1:18. When Satan tempted Jesus, Jesus won by using the word. When there are issues to deal with, REMEMBER the prophecies that God has given you, STRENGTHEN your faith and resolve by them, and then UTTER those words, saying, "It is written!" "He said!" God will honour every word He said and Satan will flee! That's how to fight a good fight; that's how to win!
