His Grace Is Sufficient
"And He said to me, 'My grace is sufficient for you, for My strength is made perfect in weakness.' Therefore most gladly I will rather boast in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me." II Corinthians 12:9 NKJV
People have defined grace to mean several things; and yes, grace actually has several meanings: but here we are looking at grace as the strength and power of Christ.
If you are engaged in any activity; physical or spiritual, there's a tendency for you to get tired. It's not always easy to keep going on and on; that's why some people fall sick. I've been writing devotionals for years now, and people wonder how I've been able to continue, every day; I tell them that it's by the grace of God. When God gives you an assignment, He also gives the grace for it. That's why it's not good to just copy what you see people do, find out what God wants you to do because that's what He will give grace for.
Isaiah 49:30-31 says that "Even the youths shall faint and be weary, and the young men shall utterly fall, but those who wait on the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings like eagles, they shall run and not be weary, they shall walk and not faint." Glory to God!
