We all want to have bright futures. It won't happen by chance; if it must be, it must be created. You won't stumble into it, you'll have to run to it.
Architects are visionaries. They are able to visualise; to see something beautiful where nothing exists. They see visions of what they want to build and then develop plans to achieve their visions. They see the building in the minds and on paper long before it is built.
Vision is what you have imagined to do or what God has inspired you to do (Genesis 11:6; Nehemiah 2:12).
Vision often comes with a burden because it's a product of passion, desire or concern. It consumes you. A man with a vision is often "restless". He dreams about his vision, talks about it, draws it, meditates about it, and works towards achieving it. When a man is consumed by his vision everything about him communicates that vision. It even affects his attitude and his habits.
There must be a plan to accomplish your vision just as an Architect has a building plan. A true visionary can tell you what he wants to do or where he wants to be in years to come because he has a plan.
Vision often precedes provision. A current lack of provision should not stop a man from seeing visions. Provision can come by faith: God will supply.
A visionary is unstoppable. He refuses to let himself cower and be subdued by opposition, doubters and challenges. If a door closes, he knocks on another and will knock on many other doors until his vision becomes a reality.
A big vision requires support - favour. May God grant you favour.
