TRUE STARS

There are many known and celebrated stars in our world today, mostly musicians, actors and actresses. But there are true stars recognised by God, they are the soul winners. Daniel 12:3 says, "Those who are wise will shine like the brightness of the heavens, and those who lead many to righteousness, like the stars for ever and ever." Soul winners might not be celebrated and rewarded by us now, but on Judgment Day, and in the life to come, they'll be the true stars. He who wins souls is wise (Proverbs 11:30). Dearly beloved, there's nothing greater in this life than winning souls for the Lord. Nothing manifests our love for God and for fellow men than this. It also shows we really understand God's purposes here on Earth. It is not enough to serve God, you and I must be very concerned about the eternal destinies of the men and women we relate with every day. When you pray, what exactly do you pray about? There must be people you're praying for; specifically about their salvation. It is God's will that all are saved and we must engage ourselves in evangelism. God is not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance. There's no price that can be too much for a soul. Feel free to go to the highest heights, to the deepest depths, and to the farthest places to seek and save the lost. And remember those closest to you too. Seek to be a true star in God's eyes.
