JUDGMENT SHALL BE MADE IN YOUR FAVOUR!

I think I've lost my ability to fear; no matter how terrible situations are, or how threatened I am, I just trust God, and I'm very confident that He will always deliver me. After all, He is the Judge! Proverbs 29:26 reveals that judgment comes from Him. It says, "Many seek the ruler's favour; but every man's judgment cometh from the LORD."

In Daniel 7:21-22, we read of a certain horn which made war against the saints, and prevailed against them. But that's not where the story ends! The horn prevailed against the saints until the Ancient of Days came; and then a judgment was made in favour of the saints! Hallelujah!

I've got good news for you today: God is aware of all that you've been going through; He's aware of all the insults and all the evils done to you; He's aware of your pain; and He wants me to tell you, that judgment is about to be made in your favour! It doesn't matter what judgment has already been made; I hear a voice saying, "Overturn, overturn!" Hooray!

Isaiah 54:17 says, "No weapon formed against thee prospereth, and every tongue rising against thee, in judgment thou condemnest. This is the inheritance of the servants of Jehovah, and their righteousness from me, an affirmation of Jehovah!" (Young's Literal Translation). So shall it be!

MUCH MORE THAN ROBOTS

A robot is a "mechanical or virtual agent, usually an electro-mechanical machine that is guided by a computer program or electronic circuitry" (Wikipedia). From my little understanding, before a robot is constructed, there's first a purpose, and a design, then you get the components, and devise "systems and applications", for lack knowledge of technical terms and more information.

God didn't just create us for no reasons. Please understand that. You are not here for the sake of being here or just to exist. You're not here merely as an addition to human beings or to prolong your family name. Of the many children your parents could have had, it was you who was born, and by God's grace you have survived till today. You'll agree with me that there's a definite reason why you're still here.

Ephesians 2:10 says, "For we are God's masterpiece. He created us anew in Christ Jesus, so we can do the good things he planned for us long ago." There was a purpose for you to fulfil long before you were born: if that's why you were born, then you've got to spend your life fulfilling it.

A time-waster is not one who sleeps for 10hours, because it may be necessary; a time waster is one who lives fulfilling a purpose other than that which he was born to fulfil! Don't waste precious time; discover your purpose, and then spend the rest of your life fulfilling it. And as a robot is guided by computer programs, we must let the Spirit and Word of God guide us.

YOU AND YOUR HOUSEHOLD

Salvation should not end with you, your household should also be saved; neither should you serve God alone, your family should serve with you.

Whether you're the head of the home or not, make yourself responsible for both the salvation and spiritual growth of your household. Joshua said to the Israelites: "But if serving the LORD seems undesirable to you, then choose for yourselves this day whom you will serve, whether the gods your ancestors served beyond the Euphrates, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land you are living. But as for me and my household, we will serve the LORD." Joshua 24:15

It's God's desire that your family is also saved and engaged in his service. Acts 16:31 says, "Believe in the Lord Jesus and you will be saved, you and your household." Charity must begin at home! If whatever you do has been a blessing to you, you should eagerly seek to involve members of your house. In 1 Chronicles 26, we see entire households ministering in the house of God: all 62 men of Obed-edom's household, for instance, served together in the house of God; his sons and their sons and their brethren were said to be able men! I love that.

Decide today that your entire household will not only be born again, but will also actively serve the Lord. Share the word with them, pray together, evangelise together, etc. Fathers and mothers especially, your generations should serve the Lord!

SATISFIED WITH THE GOODNESS OF THE LORD

Problems and challenges are real; but I don't celebrate them as something special because if Adam and Eve didn't sin there won't have been problems! Till today, many problems in our lives are caused by sin; disobedience, and disregard of the will of God.

God is good! And He seeks to restore man to Himself. When a man surrenders to God, he begins to enjoy the goodness of God. His song changes; he begins to see the Lord's goodness, His mercies and compassion. David said that from when he was young till he was old, he never saw the righteous forsaken or his seed begging for bread; for daily the Lord loads him with benefits! Glory to God!

Jeremiah 31:12-14 says, "Therefore they shall come and sing in the height of Zion, streaming to the goodness of the Lord for wheat and new wine and oil, for the young of the flock and the herd; their souls shall be like a well-watered garden, and they shall sorrow no more at all. Then shall the virgin rejoice in the dance, and the young men and the old, together; for I will turn their mourning to joy, will comfort them, and make them rejoice rather than sorrow. I will satiate the soul of the priests with abundance, and My people shall be satisfied with My goodness, says the Lord."

Amen! In the remaining days of your life, may you be satisfied with the goodness of the Lord! May your mourning be turned to joy! Your morning has come; it's time for you to be happy and at rest! May your soul be satiated with abundance and be as a well watered garden! Dance and rejoice, for the Lord is forever good and His mercies endure forever!

The Righteousness and Justice of God

"Is God a wicked, cruel God?", someone asked. He said, "Everywhere you turn suffering and misery seems to reign strongly in this world. If God is so good why is he not helping all those suffering people in the world? Why does he act like a heartless, cold God who only cares about himself?" Here's what someone replied, "Pretty much yes. Christians can't explain why he's too lazy to help everyone and why he's always mad at someone in the bible. That's why I stopped reading the bible, it's such a violent book."

It's so easy to blame God for all the problems of the world, after all, He's all powerful and He is love. He should do something about everything. He should destroy all the wicked people immediately and make the world a better place. We want God to do all that, yet man continues to make choices contrary to His will; men continues to yield themselves to Satan and curse God daily; men have refused to accept His offer of salvation; despite all we do, we want Him to override our actions; we don't want to be responsible at all.

The LORD is upright, and there's no wickedness in Him! (Psalm 92:15). His works are perfect, and all His ways are just. A faithful God who does no wrong, upright and just is He (Deuteronomy 32:4). He does no wrong. Day by day He hands down justice, and He does not fail (Zephaniah 3:5). He is a faithful God, keeping His covenant of love to a thousand generations of those who love Him and keep His commandments (Deuteronomy 7:9). Hallelujah!

ANGELS ON ASSIGNMENT

The words of God are "things", spiritually speaking; so are our words. When words are spoken, they are not just sounds, they are collected, stored and can be retrieved. Jesus said the words He speaks are spirit. Do you understand?

Whenever God speaks, angels are responsible for the fulfilment of His words. As soon as the word is spoken, they act swiftly on it and ensure that it is either delivered or fulfilled. And they are strong enough to ensure that whatever God says is done exactly as He said it and on time too. Joel 2:11 says that the troops that carry out God's commands are mighty. And Psalm 103:20 says, "Praise the LORD, you angels of his, you powerful warriors, who carry out his decrees and obey his orders!" Hallelujah!

Angels don't just sing songs of exultation to God in heaven and fly around having fun; according to Hebrews 1:14, angels are ministering spirits sent out to serve us who are heirs of salvation. Psalm 91:11 reveals that God has commanded the angels to protect us in all our ways. I'm sorry, but I'm not one of those who "pleads the blood" on the plane, their cars, houses and on themselves; if I even pray before a journey it's just for formality! I don't even believe I should slip and fall on the floor! Why? Because a command has since been given and I'm very conscious of it and of the presence of angels with me!

Be informed today, dear people of God, that you are fully secured. Go about your daily activities being terrified of nothing! Sleep like a baby! Angels are on assignment on your behalf!

RAPTURE READY?

We can talk about dominion, talk about success, prosperity, wisdom, faith, and so on, but we must not forget to remind ourselves that we are pilgrims here on earth, and that this place, no matter how comfortable we may have become in it, isn't our permanent place.

There's life after physical death: spirits don't disappear, evaporate, go into extinction, nor become annihilated; they live forever - in Heaven with God or in the Lake of Fire along with Satan and other fallen angels.

The Scriptures talk about the hope which is laid up for us in Heaven (Colossians 1:5). Abraham desired the heavenly city which has foundations, whose builder and maker is God (Hebrews 11:10). Where's the most beautiful place on earth? It is absolutely nothing when compared with what awaits us!

Oh! I can't wait to be there! I care less about living long here on earth; I want to be with my Jesus! In the Golden City is where I belong! I have another home in view and my Saviour is coming to take me there! Let every one who has this hope purify himself and keep himself unspotted. Jesus is coming soon, and trust me, you'd be better off going with the rapture. Are you rapture ready?
